This is the story of the Venezuela's Under 17 National Football Team, a group of 16-year-old girls in whose hands rest the chance to win their country's first World Cup. A squad that, besides their life on the pitch, lives a life marked by poverty, an insatiable will to better themselves and a clear discrimination for being women.
Synopsis: An unexpected visit from a long time friend sends two men reminiscing about old times, and their time digging for oil. However, after a secret is revealed, the seemingly friendly visit shows its true purpose.
Synopsis: In an impenetrable and humid rainforest located in southern Venezuela lies Canaima, one of the vastest national parks in the world. Most parts of the park can only be reached by light plane, foot or canoe. Canaima's landscape is drawn by a copious amount of rivers and its horizon is constantly broken by immense tepui mountains. This remote place is what the Pemon Indians call home. Cut-off from the ocean and surrounded by a dense jungle, they have grown a sacred bond with the tepuis where the 'Mawari' spirits dwell.
Gerhard Weil’s life changed when he met Churun, a Pemon Indian from Canaima. A spiritual journey they both shared in 2004 made Gerhard promise Churun he would return to take him and his family to meet the ocean for the first time ever. This is the story about what happened 10 years after when Gerhard fulfilled his promise. A beautiful quest, full of “first times” and water adventures.
